Using the YHGL Software
YHGL has a friendly interface. Instructions and directions are provided during operation. The first thing that appears to the user after starting YHGL is a greeting message (see Fig. 1) that provides an important instruction for the first-time user.
As shown in Fig. 1, it is important for the
first-time user to navigate the Help menu since it will save him a lot of time
later, and may make him more aware of proper data entry and of getting the most
benefit from the instructions provided by the program. The user (whether a
first-time user or not) should click on the OK button that appears on the
greeting message (Fig. 1), in order to go to the next step.
After that, the main screen will appear with both menu and tool bars (Fig.
2).
The five buttons that appear in the tool bar make it easier for the user to begin a new design or to open, save, print, or run a design. The blue box that appears next to the buttons displays the title for each button as the pointer moves above the button. The functions of these buttons can also be executed under File and Run menus.
